I had seen a comment on FB saying that Fun Jieh Soup serves home-cooked food. Out of curiosity, we decided to check out the place. For us who always eat outside, a healthier option of food without MSG is always the best for us and Fun Jieh Soup offered such dishes. Some might says, NO MSG means NO TASTE but this is not necessarily true.
Signature Fried Noodle
The Signature Fried Noodle was really flavourful. It had the savoury wok taste and wasn't too dry nor too oily. It had a close to similar taste as Hokkien Mee. 4/5
Pork Leg Vinegar
Just like my mom's cooking, the Pork Leg Vinegar had the right hints of sweetness and sourish taste. The meat was so tender while the pork leg doesn't tasted greasy at all. At least I don't felt like I'm eating fats but instead the pig's skin tasted like it could melt in my mouth. I can have an extra bowl of rice! 4/5
Stir-fry Bittergourd with Chicken in Black Bean Sauce
Fragrantly good yet not too salty. The bittergourd was not over-cooked and it goes really well with black bean sauce. 3.5/5
2 plate of steamed rice, RM2.00
Sweet and Sour Fish
The Fish fillets tasted fresh and doesn't have any unpleasant smell. Cooked with capsicums and onions in sweet and sour sauce. It was good! 3.5/5
Stir-fry Local Vegetables with Egg
The greenish colour of the vegetables showed the freshness of the vegetables which was cooked with minimum amount of oil. A healthy option which help us balance up our diet. 3.5/5
Dinner dishes serving size (M) for 3 person
Total Bill = RM50.40
