Nasi Ayam CP @ Centrepoint

So you've used up your Christmas advanced pay. Its hardly mid-month, and now you're on a shoestring budget. You're asking : where can I lunch on workdays without breaking my piggy bank? Well, thankfully, we have  inflation-proof "Nasi Ayam CP RM2.80".

While it may not win "The most creative name" award, it does win the hearts of the budget constrained not-yet-there-yuppies. At RM2.80 for a chicken rice, there is nothing much to expect and nothing more to complain. Although the use of Styrofoam for dine-in may tick off those tree huggers, apart from that, the chicken rice is pretty tasty. They also serve nasi minyak or sauteed rice instead of plain rice.

You can find this joint at the basement opposite Watson. There's also another one at City parade area near the amusement arcade. I use to even seeing their branch at the bus station opposite DBKK, but I can't be certain whether or not it is still there.

Drinks are RM1.80, and they don't serve plain water. So for the extremely thin shoestring budgeter, BYO(bring your own) water bottle, or hold your thirst till you reach your office/home. BYO plates too if you care a lot about your frail planet.
