Back in the old days, Sakura Cafe @ Imbi used to be one of the famous place for Nasi Lemak. My sister and I will never miss the chance to tagged along with my mom whenever she wanted to dine at Sakura Cafe and enjoy her favourite Nasi Lemak. As time passes by, more and more new restaurants which serve good Nasi Lemak had popped up in KL. One of it was Madam Kwan.
Nasi Lemak RM14.90++
Nasi Lemak is one of the signature dish of Madam Kwan. Served with curry chicken, sambal, dried shrimp floss, hard boiled egg and acar. Looking at the Nasi Lemak, it was really very similar to the Nasi Lemak I used to have at Sakura Cafe. The fragrantly good curry chicken was creamy and flavourful. The sambal tasted sweet and the spiciness was mild. Eaten with the rice which was rich in coconut milk, it just tasted so good.
Acar (my favourite, wished to have more)
For drinks, I just ordered a Mineral Water

The last time we passed-by Sadong Jaya, Jack spotted the Sandwich Bar at Epal Hotel. Both of us likes sandwiches, so, how could we miss out Epal Coffee?
 Epal Bulgogi Special RM8.00
By looking at the name of the sandwich, it already tell you that it's fusion dish. Homemade beef patty, melted cheese, egg and sweet corn omelet and fresh cabbages sandwiched in between the toasted bread. The taste was okay but it was quite a light meal to us.
 Epal Chicken Special RM8.00
Instead of beef patty, the Epal Chicken Special used the homemade chicken patty. Taste wise, it was just average. As I mentioned earlier, it was a light meal to us.
One thing I love about the cafe was the interior design. It is a nice place to chill out with friends while having a cup of coffee and surfing the net, probably grab a bite on the sandwich while hungry.

Back to my favourite place for burger. Chili's is my favourite place whenever I'm craving for a thick juicy beef burger. Although The Grind House was in my list for the best burger, due to conveniency, especially if I'm dining alone, I'll just satisfied my craving at Chili's which is across the street from my house.
100Plus, RM6.95
The bottomless Soft Drink which cost RM7.00 are actually not really expensive is you plan to hang out with friends for long hours.
BBQ Ranch Burger RM20.95
Ooh.. BBQ Ranch Burger. Thick and juicy beef patty topped with Bacon and sandwiched between soft sesame bun. Served with thick fries. Yummy!! The burger is huge but don't look down on me, I can really gulped it down.
Total paid for Lunch, RM32.10
If you ever notice, they have renovated their premises! New interior!
