Mee Rebus . Ice Island @ OUG Night Markert (Pasar Malam)

OUG Pasar Malam, every thurday night. A heaven for shoppers, hell for motorists. Parking is a privilege for drivers. You are better off walking from your house to this crowded night market filled with food, clothing, household essential and DVD stalls. My fondest memories of this place are the char koey teow, asam laksa, Stadium popiah and also the cheap VCDs, DVDs and computer softwares. Mee rebus and Ice Island (Taiwanese Ice shaved dessert) sold by mobile hawker in OUG Night Market (every Thursday), something you must try! Mee Rebus is a noodle dish popular in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. The dish is made of yellow egg noodles, with a spicy slightly sweet curry-like gravy. Ice Island, there are many flavours to choose from but their most appealing dessert are their mango ice shaved dessert, it was well value for money and a very refreshing dessert!
