Limkokwing's Creativity in Motion Fashion Show @ Publika, Solaris Dutamas

At Publika Square, 22nd December 2011. As the year comes to and end, the spirit of celebration can be felt everywhere, especially among the graduating class of Fashion and Retail Design students of Limkokwing University of Creative Technology's International, presenting another edition of their infamous Creativity in Motion Fashion show. This term's class of 18 designer from 6 will show off their collections drawing from inspiration, such as Arabic Abayas, Indian textiles, Japanese Samurais and etc....with their contemporary twist.

Hosted by Malaz Elnaiem from the UK and 2006 Zimbabwean Idol Jonah Sithole, the anchors for The Magic of Limkokwing, the World in One Place radio show every Sunday at 10pm.

Awards were presented to students with best techniques and most creative collections, by Associate Vice President of Talent, Development Dato' Tiffanee Marie Lim. Awards went to those who go extra mile to create their own textiles, shoes and the strongest concepts of collections.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

 

"It really is the world in one place at Limkokwing!" the host said. "Where else do you get so many different nationalities in the same place? In this one hour, I think you must have seen about 40 different countries on the stage.

There was no shortage of talent on show, performers from University's Sound and Music Academy who got the crowd to sing along and dance with their original cover  grooves, and ended with the class All I want for Christmas, Ernie Shaheerah belted her single My Only One cheers from her fans.
