Sugar Island @ Kobuta Square, Tawau

Everydayfoodilove.com has change to Everydayfood.co (DOTCO), we are no longer using (DOTCOM).

Just a few shops away from Kedai Kopi Sang Kee in Kobuta Square, there is a shop selling delicious pastries. Well, if you are a fan of sweet delights, the Portugese Tart at Sugar Island is a must try if you happen to be in Tawau.

Sugar Island
Location: same row of shop with Kedai Kopi Sang Kee, Kobuta Square

Selection of Cakes and Pastries
Herbal Drink RM2.20, Aloe Vera Drink RM2.50
Portugese Tart RM2.20 each
Crispy pastry with creamy and aromatic caramelized egg custard. It is a delicious dish for tea time.

Cream Puff RM2.20 each
The sugary puff with cream was really delicious. The puff was soft and fluffy with a little crisp while the cream was smooth but not too sweet.

ABC (without milk and peanut) RM3.90
As we ordered the ABC without milk and peanut, the lady boss substitute the milk with some fruity syrup which tasted equally good on the shaved ice. I personally love the Biji Selasih (not sure what it call in english) which tasted so cute and enjoyable.
