Monday, a day that people hate the most. A day that reminded us to get back to reality and WORK.

This afternoon, I had to collect my parcel at Pos Laju in the town. Since I was lucky enough to get a parking space, Jack and I went for lunch at Wiya Chicken Rice. Although it is a well-known restaurant for chicken rice and Angeline had blogged about it before, I always missed the chance to try it out.
 Char Siu with Rice
From the previous post about Wiya Chicken Rice, I was salivating when I saw the photos Angeline took. Finally, it was my turn to try the Char Siu Rice. Yummy! Lean meat was served. If you like juicy Char Siu with some fats coated around the lean meat, this might not be a good choice for you.
Steamed Chicken Rice
Jack ordered the Steamed Chicken Rice. Honestly, the Steamed Chicken Rice will be a better choice. The chicken meat was firm and the chicken taste was strong.
Bean Sprouts
The Bean Sprouts is a good dish to go with Chicken Rice. The juicy bean sprouts was refreshing and the taste is very light.
Nasi Minyak (Rice)
The most important element of Chicken rice is the rice itself. A good Nasi Minyak was supposed to be cooked with chicken soup and some extra ingredients such as lemongrass and ginger. The fragrant should be good and the rice shouldn't be too oily. The fragrant of the rice here was mild and it wasn't too oily.
Total bill = RM15.20 (including Chinese Tea)
