Villa Danieli is the Italian restaurant of renowned hotel, Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur. Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur prides itself with serving true Italian cuisine which rouses appetites and leaves one fully satisfied with its authentic selection of Italian dishes.

Villa Danieli prides itself with using the freshest and best ingredients to create the wonders of its dishes. Upon entering Villa Danieli, one's attention will be drawn to the restaurant's homely decor - wooden furnishings and beautiful Italian murals which makes one feel like he's in Italy already! To top it off, the aromatic smell of freshly baked breads, wood-fired pizza and homestyle pastas fill the air as soon as one steps into the restaurant. The ambiance is indeed inviting and relaxing.

Starter: Deep Fried Fish with creamy cheese dipping
Crispy and thin deep fried fish with a tasty creamy cheese dipping
 
 
Carpaccio di manzo con croccante di parmigiano, rucola e riduzione di Modena
The taste, look, and freshness are amazing. Carpaccio refers to food which has been sliced very thin, and served raw with a simple dressing. Tenderloin beef sliced thin, pounded still thinner and served raw with a Modena reduction, arugula and parmesan cracker.
 
 
 
Selezione di verdure grigliate con ricotta dolce al forno e salsa al vino
Simple, fresh and delicious grilled vegetable selection with brown sugar baked ricotta which is creamy, rich and sweet; top with red wine sauce
 
 
 
Gnocchi di patate con ragout battuto al coltello alla piemontese
Delicious potato gnocchi with finely seasoned hand chopped veal ragout Piemonte's way
 
 
 
Spaghetti risottati alla lacrima di mare 
The seafood spaghetti risottati tears style. The pasta texture was al dente, spicy flavor and the seafood tasted sweet, especially the prawns.
 
 

Guancia di manzo fondente con purea di patate all olio, porri ed asparagi
Melting beef cheek, olive oil mashed potato, leek and roasted asparagus. The beef cheeks had great flavor and I liked the melt-in-your-mouth texture. Also served with a smooth and creamy style olive oil mashed potato, sweet leek and crunchy texture of roasted asparagus.
 
 

Tagliata di controfiletto al rosmarino con caponata di verdue glasste
Seared and sliced beef sirloin which was a juicy tender cut of meat and nicely presented with fresh rosemary and glazed vegetable caponata.
 
 

Medaglione di merluzzo alla mediterranea con purea di ceci all olio
Mediterranean's way Cod fish which has a smooth, medium-firm and creamy in texture top with olive oil and served with thyme chick pea mashed
 
 
 
End with some great desserts. Tiramisu, still my favorite.
