Restoran Loong Fatt Seafood @ Taman Kuchai Jaya

This seafood restaurant at Kuchai Lama is specializes in Stir-fried Shark meat dishes and Norwegian fish cooked in Chinese wine. Honestly, I was not very keen on having shark meat dishes but it's quite healthy as it's low in fat, rich in Omega-3 and this restaurant cooked it well too. The shark meat texture was more like cooked tuna and it was tasteless itself, the intense flavor comes from the sauce which was supposed to compliment the shark meat.

Signature's Dish: Stir-fried Shark Meat with Bean Paste and Norwegian Fish cooked in Chinese Wine

Stir-fried Shark Meat with Bean Paste Sauce, RM20.00
The stir-fried shark meat was cooked in a heavy bean paste sauce along with lady finger, ginger and onion. The shark meat was not that explosive in taste and no it does not taste like chicken, its like soft tuna meat but a bit more bland. This dish was flavorful and perfect with rice.

Spinach cooked in Superior Soup, RM8.00
More like a spinach soup with pork and century egg.

Beancurd with Minced Pork Meat, RM12.00
Local beancurd cooked in a thick gravy with minced pork, mushroom and carrot.
