Well, times have changed now, and many restaurants are offering dim sum from morning til night, providing a constant supply to satisfy one’s cravings should it occur any time of the day. And so fate had it that we were at Jade Pot Dim Sum Restaurant one day to satisfy our dim sum craving during lunch. What's nice? The pork leg vinegar and Kon Lau Mien (top with pork lard oil), if you like this dish, this is also the place to indulge. How Lee opens from 6pm till late and if you want to savour the porridge here, it is best to get there early as seats and tables are very limited.

Jin Jin Seafood Restaurant @ Hilltop

Image
Chinese like their soup, traditionally served invigorating tonic their body system and best known for Cantonese food which is easily found everywhere. The food is quickly stir-fried with just a touch of oil and the result is crisp and fresh. With Cantonese food, the more people sitting at a meal the better, because dishes are traditionally shared so everyone will manage to sample the greatest variety. A corollary of this is that Cantonese food should be balanced: traditionally, all foods are said to be either Yin [cooling] like vegetables, clear soup; or Yang [heaty] like starchy foods and meat. A cooling food should be balance with a heaty food and with not too much of one or the other.

Image
How to stay in shape? As food bloggers, we tend to eat more than our daily requirements. For us to maintain a fit and healthy body, we usually did a few indoor cycling and yoga class a week. However, I think it's time for me to take it outdoor for change of scenery and breathe in fresh air. Although indoor cycling is more convenience but the varied intensity of outdoor riding: freewheeling, uphill inclines, etc. can make it feel much more satisfying and spontaneous than fixed cycling in a closed environment. Outdoor cycling has the potential for high energy expenditure, particularly when you're covering high mileage or taking in hilly terrain. The average Tour de France rider burns 124,000 calories during the race.
