Tucked nicely within the bustling heart of Kuala Lumpur, Ishin caters fine and genuine Japanese and Kaiseki style cuisines. Ishin today announced that it has received a TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence. Now in its sixth year, the achievement celebrates hospitality businesses that have earned great traveler reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year. Certificate of Excellence recipients include accommodations, eateries and attractions located all over the world that have continually delivered a quality customer experience.

"With the Certificate of Excellence, TripAdvisor honors hospitality businesses that have consistently received strong praise and ratings from travelers,” said Heather Leisman, Vice President of Industry Marketing, TripAdvisor. “This recognition helps travelers identify and book properties that regularly deliver great service. The Certificate of Excellence accounts for the quality, quantity and recency of reviews submitted by travelers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.

The special sashimi that Ishin serves certainly holds itself high up among other famous ones in town. The throng of customers that make a beeline is testament to this. Some say their main aim coming to Ishin has been their special sashimi. The seafood is so fresh, succulent, tender and has a nice bite to it, with an almost delicate texture. 
 
FRESH HAMAGURI CLEAR SOUP - RM32
This beautiful looking dish is Fresh Hamaguri clear soup. Their interpretation of this dish has its own respectable language and anecdote that is respectable to the original. Truly light but packed with natural flavors.
 
 
JAPANESE KABU WITH HOKKAIDO UNI - RM78
The next fine looking dish was the Japanese Kabu with Hokkaido Uni. The broth was clear, light but packs some strong flavor, a nice complement to the tender meat that took dexterity to cook to give it's texture delicate.
 
JAPANESE AYU SHIOYAKI - RM58
The Japanese Ayu Shioyaki was also awesome, with one bite and you really feel like saying “wow! Unreal man! Totally delicious!” It has a, simple, not complicated but with deep rich flavour from awesome marinade, derived from local ingredients. 
 
HOKKAIDO KING CRAB WITH DUCK LIVER TEPPANYAKI STYLE - RM146
As with all the fine presentation you'd expect nothing less. Here we present to you Hokkaido King crab with Duck liver teppanyaki style. Both meat were nice and tender and is filled with rich and intense flavour that you just wanna shut off the world and soak in the fun.
 
SAKURA COOL SOBA - RM38
The sakura cool soba which is a staple is filled with rich and intense flavour that you just wanna shut off the world and soak in the fun, the twist of 2 quail's egg also adds flavor and texture.
 
BAKED LOBSTER CHEESE YAKI - RM104
The freshness of this lobster in this dish is complemented with great spice and well balanced cheese.The huge crustacean is so meaty, sweet with a great velvety texture. Pair that with the cheese which is cooked with a little bit of salty, little sweet and a whole lot of flavor and aroma. It has so many distinct flavor but they all blend so well, it is certainly a whole new seafood culinary experience. 
 
RAINDROP CAKE - RM8
Go ahead and be part of the raging trend that is raindrop cake. This squishy, jiggly, not-quite-a-cake dessert, melts into water the second it enters your mouth. It doesn’t even pop — it just sort of instantly dissolves. It is refreshing just like every other dish you have at Ishin, so even with all those food, I don't feel so guilty. Haha!
