Farmland Porridge Steamboat Restaurant has relocated to 31-33, Jalan Maharajalela 50150 KL...Call for reservation: 03-9226 2318. Farmland Steamboat and Seafood Restaurant started sinced 2001, a steamboat restaurant that offered rice porridge instead of soup. Steamboat porridge is naturally sweet blend well with the flavor from the medley of meat and seafood. The first outlet at their Tengkat Tong Shin premises soon became too small and they decided to move to Pudu and opened its doors in 2004 and has been a hit since. There is almost always a queue every night, starting from 7pm. Recently they had relocated their restaurant to Jalan Maharajelela.

Specialty: Deep fried bean sauce pork - Pork belly is marinated with nam yue (fermented beancurd) and deep-fried till light and crispy, Claypot kampung chicken with rice wine and Thai-style fried prawns with butter.

Pumpkin Porridge, RM4.00

The porridge is cooked in a claypot and has a very smooth consistency. A special mixed of five types of rice grains and boils the gruel for 10 hours to achieve the smooth texture.

The set consists of quail eggs, fish balls, beef balls with ginger, tofu puffs, prawns, water spinach (kangkung), tofu, pumpkin slices, bean curd skin (fu chok), fish slices, Chinese cabbage, fish-paste noodles and eggs.
