Steam Room, features interior with brick and timber walls facade with dark elegant hanging lights over the ceiling, (at then entrance) decorated with partition made from stacks of dim sum steamer baskets framed by a thick black wooden frame and an open space for exterior dining. Furnished with wooden tables and chairs with beige cushions for a great contrast to the floor tiling. The attraction, would be their variety of steam cuisines, which is how they created the restaurant name "STEAM ROOM".
While "dim sum " literally means: point of the heart, was originally not a main meal, only a snack, and therefore only meant to touch the heart, it is now a staple and widely available for Chinese dining culture. Traditional dim sum includes various types of steamed buns such as cha siu bao, dumplings and rice noodle rolls (cheong fun), which contain a range of ingredients, including beef, chicken, pork, prawns and vegetarian options. At Steam Room, steamed rice, noodles, green vegetables, dishes, congee and soups are all available in their thick menu. Make your own choice, deep fried or steamed dim sum and don't forget the dessert, egg tarts. Bring your family and friends over so you can try a wide variety of food, food tastes the best when you share it with the people you love, and this is especially so with dim sum.
