THE PINNACLE OF H-ARTISTRY BRINGS 2012 TO A RESOUNDING CONCLUSION

More than 4,000 revelers party to a phenomenal mix of sights, sound and taste at the Pinnacle of The Global Art of Mixing Trilogy. The H-Artistry Trilogy of parties arrived at a sensational culmination on 3 November 2012 at the Malaysia International Exhibition and Convention Centre, marking the end of 2012’s The Global Art of Mixing Trilogy. H-Artistry at MIECC delivered an extraordinary mix of stellar musical acts from across the globe, a trademark H-Artistry atmosphere and a palatable blend of signature Hennessy V.S.O.P. long drinks: Hennessy Apple, Hennessy Berry, Hennessy Ginger and Hennessy Soda.

Capturing the essence of The Global Art of Mixing was a line up of international artists of diverse musical styles and genres, featuring The X Factor winner and UK’s R&B darling Alexandra Burke, world-renowned Australian DJ vixen Havana Brown, K-Pop boy band heartthrobs Block B, and Las Vegas’ edgiest DJ Starkillers a.k.a. Nick Terranova. Making a surprise appearance was one of the hottest all-girl K-Pop groups to debut recently – EvoL.
The night was clearly headed in the right direction as eccentric graphics on the LED panels marked the beginning of H-Artistry’s electronic dance music acts. The crowd was enraptured as Havana Brown’s DJ deck theatrically rose from the middle of the stage, and a flurry of musical euphoria ensued.
Party goers were treated to an awe-inspiring party setup featuring a premium-chic Hennessy Art of Mixing Zone and a never-before-seen centre stage concept in the party arena. Coupled with enrapturing musical performances and signature Hennessy V.S.O.P. long drinks, the Pinnacle of H-Artistry had all the right ingredients of a truly sensational night.

Storming the stage to shrill screams of the female K-Pop fans in the crowd were Block B, who immediately broke into song and dance with their infectious track “Nilili Mambo”. Live renditions of “No Joke” and “Nalina” followed, as Block B showcased their rap, vocals and dance prowess to put on a stellar demonstration of the quality and showmanship of K-Pop music.
As Block B bowed out, the next artist to take the stage was Alexandra Burke, who immediately stamped her vocal authority as the prima donna of the night. Among the highlights of Alexandra Burke’s performance were live renditions of “Heartbreak on Hold”, “Elephant”, and her hit track “Bad Boys”, featuring Flo Rida. However, the crowd exploded in exhiliration when Alexandra Burke invited Block B up on stage for an exclusive H-Artistry collaboration. Cheers and screams coupled with blaring horns marked the introduction of Kanye West’s massive hit “All of the Lights” – version H-Artistry. The rendition was given a distinct edge, thanks to Alexandra Burke’s full, powerful vocals and Block B’s crisp rap delivery – another resounding East-meets-West collaboration to take place on the H-Artistry platform.

The Hennessy Art of Mixing Zone
Kicking off the night was the Hennessy Art of Mixing Zone – a regular affair at all H-Artistry events where party goers soaked up the classy atmosphere with glasses of signature Hennessy V.S.O.P. long drinks in hand. Fuelling the anticipation while representing the local scene among the international acts were Electro Junkies, whose Electro House lashings worked the crowd’s excitement levels from within the Hennessy Art of Mixing Zone.
Enter the gorgeous hosts of the night, Julie Woon and Sarah Lian, who warmed up the crowd with banter and pleasantries, setting the tone for a great night ahead. Aside from learning how to mix their favourite Hennessy V.S.O.P. long drinks at the Hennessy Mixing Bars and posing for the Hennessy 360 Cam, guests could scan QR codes around the venue to collect reward points via the MY Hennessy App, explained the beautiful hosts. Collecting these Hennessy Rewards Points would allow party goers to redeem exclusive gifts and benefits.

Right after the collaboration, K-Pop fans in the crowd were thrown yet another surprise by one of the hottest all-girl K-Pop groups to debut recently – EvoL. H-Artistry’s surprise guest performers took the stage with enthusiastic cheers and put on a sizzling performance featuring their hit tracks, “Let’s Explode” and “Magnet”. Bringing EvoL’s performance to its peak was an energy-packed rendition of their bold debut track “We are a bit Different”. K-Pop fans at H-Artistry were left in a frenzy.

Just as Havana Brown set the pace of her set, the crowd was prompted into an uproar yet again by a dance and vocal performance by the Australian DJ vixen herself. Havana Brown was in a clear class of her own as she multi-tasked between demonstrating her vocal chops, synchronized dance moves, and orchestrating her tracks from behind the consoles in a performance that resonated to H-Artistry’s The Global Art of Mixing theme.
Havana Brown’s hit track “We Run the Night” bolstered the crowd to an unstoppable momentum, as she made way for the final performer of the night – Starkillers. The burly Nick Terranova took the decks with his own distinct and commanding presence, dropping hit tracks and remixes of “Pressure” and “Titanium” to the ardent cheers of the crowd.
Party Hard, Party Smart
As H-Artistry at MIECC approached the end of the night, party goers took full advantage of the Hennessy Art of Mixing Zone, which had been converted into a comfortable chill-out zone for everyone to relax. Complimentary mineral water bottles were made freely available throughout the night, and were also distributed to everyone at the exits of the arena. Outside the event venue, food stalls were commissioned to stay open till 3am, giving party goers a chance to recharge before heading home.
H-Artistry ambassadors were also seen carrying placards throughout the event, displaying H-Artistry’s “Party Hard, Party Smart” tips; while information on the H-Artistry Party Shuttles and the H-Artistry Party Taxis were looped on the LCD displays throughout the event venue. Events personnel were also on call to assist party goers in booking their rides home at the four taxi concierges set up at the event venue, and everyone who booked a round trip to H-Artistry enjoyed an RM20 rebate on their return fare, courtesy of H-Artistry.

Thanks to the MY Hennessy App, party goers could also check in to H-Artistry, contributing to the party demographics displayed on the Hennessy V.S.O.P. Social Graph throughout the night.

At the stroke of 10pm, the crowd quickly shifted into the party arena, and energy levels were pumping in sync with the crowd’s excitement. A sense of awe lingered in the air as party goers admired the spectacle of the centre stage, which was all set to welcome the first performers of the night.
