For the past four years Alu Alu has served innovative seafood at Gayana Eco Resort over the calm currents of the South China Sea. Now, Chef Khiong and his team from Gayana bring together their passion and creativity to create a menu using the same fresh organically farmed fish and vegetables. Dishes here are served Chinese cafe style, simple and affordable.

Chinese Herb and Yam Fish Head Soup (Grouper), RM25.00
The fish head was well prepared till tender and off the bones. The soup was sweet, creamy, aromatic and tasty. Highly recommended dish!




Salted Vegetable and Bean curd Fish Head Soup (Grouper), RM25.00
Salted Vegetable and bean curd soup is one of the perfect match for fish head, tasty clear broth.



Braised Fish Head with Beancurd in Claypot (Grouper), RM32.00
Fish head braised in thick and flavorsome concoction. This dish is packed with a nice texture, flavor, color and aroma.



Steamed Fish Head with Chinese Herb (Grouper), RM32.00
Fish head was perfectly steamed, the flesh was tender, silky, moist and tasted perfectly good in those Chinese herbs gravy.



Fish Ball with Glass Noodle Soup, RM16.00
Fish ball has a nice bouncy texture, the crystalline glass noodle has fully absorbed the the tasty soup while maintaining  it springy texture.



Steamed Kampung Chicken with salt, RM45.00
Kampung chicken meat has more tender and chewier texture, less fat and much more tastier meat.



Stir-fried Organic Vegetable with garlic, RM12.00
Crispy nutrient rich organic vegetable, eating this made me feel healthy already!


Organic Vegetable Braised with Superior Sauce, RM12.00
Crispy organic Choy Sum cooked in a delicious and savory wok taste egg sauce, topped with deep fried garlic, ginger and century eggs. Awesome dish!


Fish Fillet with potato and wasabi (Grouper), RM20.00
Fish fillet was deep fried to retain flavor and texture, coated with butter milk sauce and in aromatic curry leaves.



Thai Style Ba Jioa Fish Fillet (Grouper), RM20.00
The plump fish flesh was deep fried and topped with herbs enhanced Thai sauce, goes perfectly nice with steamed rice, salivating just by looking at it



Butter Fried Fish Fillet (Grouper), RM20.00
Crusty outside, the coating give the fish fillet more texture and body.

 






Organic food is known to contain 50% more nutrients, minerals and vitamins than produce that has been intensively farmed. Organic food tastes better, often giving that crispy and crunchy texture and packed with flavor. Green-Os are produced by the organic farming method, without using chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Their farm is located in Tuaran, uses only quality compost and organic fertilizers to create a healthy and fertile soil. They collect and culture indigenous microbes that break down organic matters and release nutrient into soil. Instead of using pesticides and insecticides, they chose to protect their crops in net-covered and rain-sheltered green houses.
