Handmade Story @ Damai

Most restaurants can claim that at least one item on their menu is hand made, yet few can claim their interior is hand made, and even fewer will name their restaurant "Handmade". Hence it is with this unique name that presents an irresistible allure to any passer by, including yours truly.

Location: Damai Point, behind Yoyo Cafe

Passion Fruit Soda
Step inside the restaurant and you will instantly recognize that even its interior reflect its namesake. We can't wait to sample their food.
Curry Laksa, RM7.00
The first one to touch our taste buds was the Curry Laksa. It was light but tasty and the noodles were firm and cooked just right. The pulled chicken meat was springy while the tofu absorbed the broth well and when you bite into the tofu, you are left the juicy sensation of the broth.

Japanese Pancake, RM10.00
Next food item is the Japanese pancake, a slightly sweet and savory pancake, smothered in special bbq sauce and mayonnaise, topped with bonito flakes. Very authentic taste while the pancake was very filling, a worthy dish on its own.

Cold Noodle, RM6.00
Last but not least, we tried the hand made dry noodles. The Noodles were firm and cooked well, marinade with fragrant and aromatic sauce and oil. The minced meat was soft and tasty, while the crunch in the cucumbers gives it a good alternate texture.
