Koki Bandung @ Alamesra

Monica Friday, June 1, 2012 , , ,

Koki Bandung is a new restaurant in the town offering authentic Indonesian cuisine. The name Koki Bandung refers to chef from Bandung. The restaurant is easily noticeable with its huge crowds during lunch hours as well as dinner hours. However, do bear with the long waiting process while dining in at the restaurant.

The rice is served hot in a basket and tasted fluffy, fragrantly good and nicely seasoned.
Satay Penyet RM9.00
The Satay Penyet was made from chicken and lemon grass cooked with sweet and spicy sauce. It is a really delicious dish. All the dishes were served with tempe (deep-fried fermented soy bean), fried beancurd, fresh vegetables and spicy Sambal.
Ayam Pukul RM9.00
Ayam Pukul, literally translated as Boxing Chicken, is a dish made from chicken drummets where the meats were pushed up to form a 'boxing gloves' shape. It was deep-fried and coated with 'Bumbu' sauce and spicy chili sauce. Tasted sweet and spicy and goes really well with rice.

Tenggiri Penyet RM12.00
Tenggiri Penyet is basically a deep-fried fish dish served with tempe, fried beancurd, vegetables and sambal. Simple yet tasty.
