Vietnam Kitchen @ Citrus Park

Angeline Thursday, January 19, 2012 , , ,

Vietnam Kitchen now has 6 outlets, Plaza OUG in Jalan Klang Lama, One Utama, Leisure Mall, Taipan USJ, Jaya33 and Sungei Wang Plaza. Vietnam Kitchen, with the mastery of their Vietnam chefs (Executive Chef Hiep used to work for The Equatorial in Ho Chi Minh City for 15 years) in the cuisine, all dishes served are authentic and faithful to the traditions of Vietnam-Chinese fare. Must try their special combination set of Banh Hoi Thap Cam, a do it yourself spring roll: rice paper, pork, chicken and vermicelli, fried spring rolls, minced shrimp on sugarcane and pork balls.

Plain Water, RM1.00 and 100Plus, RM4.00
Claypot Pork Set, RM19.90
Tender pork belly slices stewed and served in claypot. I could smell the aroma the moment the tray was set on our table. The pork belly has a nice flavor, bite and texture. My bowl of rice was topped with a sunny-side up egg, served together with side dishes like kimchi, a bowl of soup and deep fried spring roll.

Seafood Noodle, RM13.90
This Fried Noodles with Seafood is a good example of Vietnamese cuisine at its best. Fresh seafood together with fresh lightly cooked vegetables and noodles make this dish attractive, healthy and delicious.

Total paid for dinner, RM45.00
