Yeast Bistronomy @ Bangsar



Yeast is a newly opened, chic and cozy bistro that offer delicious and simple French cuisine, Christophe Chatron-Michaud and his Malaysian-born wife, Lissan Teh are the founder of Yeast. Yeast, specialize in traditional Artisan French bread. Their breads are made using home-grown, natural yeast which can hardly find using in any bakeries and food outlets nowaday, it gives the bread a better texture, perfect crust and flavor. During lunch hours, their menu are more bread-centered items, as breads are the main acts in this establishment. For those who are leaving the office at 5pm-7pm everyday can pick up some marked down price bread with 30 percent off. Yeast provide a  hearty breakfast, quick business lunches, afternoon teas and romantic dinner which you can relax while enjoying your meal and sipping away your glass of wine in this perfect cozy ambient.

Assorted bread with a perfect crust, chewy and moist texture; and nice flavor
 
 
  
 
Dessert: Cheese platter RM32.00
Prune, walnut and assorted imported cheese which has a great aroma and creamy texture that wandering around your tongue, served as dessert but I have it as starter instead...Oooops...I like it to go with bread. 
 
 
 
Poulet rôti (seven-spice roast chicken, potato gratin, pearl onions, mushrooms and smoked duck) RM36.00
Perfectly cooked chicken breast and drumstick, which was tender, juicy served together with potato gratin on the side and accompany with a touch of reduction sauce from pearl onions, mushroom and smoked duck.

Salmon poêle Bordelaise-Béarnaise (seared salmon with red wine and Béarnaise sauce with creamed spinach) RM45.00
Salmon flesh was moist and the skin was pan-seared till crispy, serve on a bed of creamed spinach and  a nicely executed sauce from red wine and Bearnaise reduction....if I am not wrong. Lots of flavor but not too over powered, can still taste the natural flavor of the good salmon.
