Making Dreams Come True: Mammoth - Empire Group Fulfils Wishes of the Terminally Ill

Angeline Thursday, January 28, 2016 , , ,

When Mammoth Empire Group decided to place a 24-seater Christmas Carousel in Empire Shopping Gallery’s Concourse Area, the decision came with a sole purpose in mind that is to turn simple happiness into something bigger and more meaningful. Carousel riders were encouraged to donate as little as RM 2 per ride, with all proceedings from the Christmas Carousel forwarded to The Children’s Wish Society of Malaysia (CWS).

Mammoth Empire Group’s Representative, Mr Carter Chia presented a mock cheque for RM35,590.60 to CWSM Board Members earlier today at Empire Hotel, Subang.

The group’s other representative highlighted that Mammoth Empire Group, in its core principle of bringing communities together, continuously strive to deliver the best of its capabilities to ensure that its surrounding communities benefit wholly.

“It is important for organisations to share and give back to the community because in everything we do, the solid motivation behind all of our efforts and interests lies in the community,” she said.

She also added that via its donation to The Children’s Wish Society of Malaysia, more wishes of children with life-limiting or terminal illness can be fulfilled and this will certainly serve as an encouragement in motivating their body, mind and spirit.
Mammoth Empire Group also placed a giant gift box at Empire Shopping Gallery’s second floor that encourage visitors and shoppers to donate items like clothes, groceries items, reading materials, toiletries and school supplies. These donated items were later delivered to charitable homes for children.

Mammoth Empire Group believes that by inspiring the community to share, donate and give back, a benevolent, generous and selfless society can be nurtured.
Christmas Holiday with Mammoth Empire! A celebration with the Community.
Mammoth Empire Holdings Sdn. Bhd. celebrated Christmas with style last Saturday by hosting their ‘Deck The Halls Night 2015’ event with a giant 40 feet LED Christmas tree at the main entrance to its mall, a 22-seater Christmas Carousel for kids on the Upper Ground’s “Christmas Village” with a little Christmas bazaar street and a host of Christmas activities at Empire Shopping Gallery.

The idea in mind for this Christmas celebration is sharing precious moments by the community, to the community, for the community with Mammoth Empire.
The festivities involved Mammoth Empire Group and its companies, business partners, tenants, management and staff, as well as the Subang Jaya community indulging in an exciting host of activities for the evening. The entire month of December would also keep the Christmas spirit on an all-time high with the Christmas Carousel ride and the Christmas Gift Box.

By the community and for the community; the Christmas Carousel ride is a charity program that Mammoth Empire has created this Christmas in support of Children Wish Society (CWS). Shoppers and visitors at Empire Shopping Gallery Subang Jaya’s community and its neighbourhood could give the best gift this Christmas, the gift of possibility to these children. These terminally ill children are taking treatments at General Hospitals throughout Malaysia, and together we can make a world’s difference with a minimum donation for each carousel ride to help with their journey of hope and healing.
Additionally the Christmas Gift Box program was also put into motion in support of House of Joy, a community charity home for children and old folks. Shoppers are encouraged to drop in books, stationeries, school uniforms, toiletries, non-perishable dry goods, as well as any household goods into the giant gift box located on the first floor of Empire Shopping Gallery, in-front of DiWei Restaurant.

Guests of honour for the night included Yang Berbahagia Hannah Yeoh, Mammoth Empire Holdings directors, management and staff, as well as invited guests from Subang Jaya community societies, Empire Shopping Gallery shoppers and children from House of Joy.
The evening started with SKY WIND marching band’s performance at the main entrance of the mall, followed by performances at the Concourse, which included Christmas Carolling, Jazz Band Trio, repertoire of songs and music by DJ Mickey and a surprise Flash Mob performance by staff of Mammoth Empire Group led by Lim Sae Min, dance choreographer and instructor from I Dance Studio.
Guests also included the media, the public, as well local celebrities, adding to the festive cheer. It was a yuletide festival to remember, as Mammoth Empire Holdings achieved their objective by creating a night in celebration of the community and charitable giving.
