Kem Bach Dang Ice Cream @ Ho Chi Minh

Angeline Tuesday, February 26, 2013 , , , , ,

Kem Bach Dang is a little walking distance from the Opera House and was packed to capacity when you drop in on a weekend evening, it is a favorite meeting place for Saigonese, for sure it is a must visit dessert place when you're in Vietnam. Some reckons the ice cream here have a better flavor and texture than substitutes found elsewhere. The atmosphere here is not exactly posh but it's air conditioned, friendly, hassle free and serve juices, smoothies, shakes, beer and ice cream. You get a glass of complimentary iced tea when you sit down.

Kem Bach Dang Ice Cream
26-28 Le Loi St., District 1, HCMC
Kem Bach Dang has 2 branches across the street from each other, at the corner of Le Loi St. and Pasteur St.

I've tried the coconut ice cream. It was a delicious home-made and fresh ice cream.

An honorable to mention: this little meat pastries. Spiced minced pork puff encased in layers of crisp puff pastry arrived on your table without all that pesky bother of ordering. Pay only for those you eat.

Iced tea (Complimentary)
