Kuan Onn Tim Sum @ Lido

In KK, you can rarely find Penang Lobak. However, in Kuan Onn Tim Sum, Lido, there is a stall which offers authentic Penang Lobak during the evening.

Kuan Onn Tim Sum
Location: Corner Shop, opposite the wet market.

Penang Lobak RM8.30
One of the most significant item of Penang Lobak is the Five-Spice Meat Roll which was crispy on the outside, flavourful and aromatic inside. Dipped with the sweet and spicy's homemade sauce, it was delicious. Apart from it, others delicious items include the fried popiah, fried beancurd and fried stuffed beancurd skin.

Fried Rice RM7.00
The restaurant also serves simple Chinese meal, cooked fresh upon ordering. The Fried Rice is one of the ala-carte meal you can find in the Menu. Stir-fried with BBQ pork, egg and spring onion, it is a savoury yet simple dish.

Kon Lau Mee RM6.00
Next to the Penang Lobak's stall, there is a Noodle's stall which offers Kon Lau Mee and Soup Noodle. The springy noodle, tossed-dry and mixed with flavourful sauce, accompanied by BBQ pork and choy sum, tasted pretty similar to the Wantan Noodle in KL. The wantan, pork and meatball was served separately in a bowl of soup.
