Steamed Pork Rib
Very often, when we watched HK TVB series or HK movie, the Yum Cha scenery were always shown in the screen. Without miss, it always keep me salivating while watching the actors and actresses eating the Dim Sum. Unlike Malaysia's version of Dim Sum, their quality of Dim Sum are ways better than ours and it can be eat without any Chili Sauce or Sweet Sauce. Also, they have a variety of selections and different restaurants will have different types of specialty. But of course, the prices are much more higher than Malaysia's Dim Sum. It cost HKD 20 - HKD 40 per basket.

While Dim Sum (touch the heart) was originally not a main meal, only a snack, and therefore only meant to touch the heart, it is now a staple of Chinese dining culture, especially in HK. Everytime when I visited Macau or HK, I will adapted to their culture and have Dim Sum as breakfast.

This trip, although not much place we had been to, we managed to go to Ocean Park and Avenue of Stars in Hong Kong.
We were so excited as it had been a long time since the last time we went for a family trip. Kind of getting back to my childhood time while holding the entry tickets and looking at the map.
The place was extremely crowded as everyone were enjoying their Chinese New Year holiday. Some were tourists and some were locals with their family's members or friends.
Since this year is the year of Tiger, Tiger Dance was being performed instead of the traditional Lion Dance.
Every scenery seems to be unforgettable to me. I love the Panda Bear. It reminded me of the cute little Panda in Kungfu Panda. Hehe...

Back in KK, we are surrounded by beautiful natures. A glance at the HK scenery, you will find it surrounded by buildings. The designs of the tall and short buildings were so unique and nice. The lighting from the buildings are ways too beautiful. However, it reminded me to be truly happy with my own country which is still rich with natures.
At Avenue of Stars, mom found her favourite actor's hand print and autograph while I found my favourite actress's hand print and autograph. Yay!!
One of the eateries in Macau that I went continuously for few days was the Estabelecimento De Comidas Man Lay Hong Kee. It wasn't really a very famous restaurant but I like their Noodle with Chicken Wing and Wantan.
Noodle with Chicken Wing and Wantan HKD35
I'm not very good in taking photos of food especially when I'm very hungry. The noodle although looks kind of messy, it tasted really good. The chicken wing's gravy mixed with noodle was so flavourful. I could have two bowls of these if the weather is really cold.
Just a little highlights from my trip. I walk around a lot in Macau and also bought some souvenirs for friends and colleagues at the famous souvenir shop.
Same as my previous trip, we also went to Yee Shun Milk Company for dessert.
Double-skin Steamed Milk Pudding HKD16
This time, I tried the Double-skin Steamed Milk Pudding. It was very smooth, milky and creamy. For those who don't really like strong milky taste, you will not like this. I'm a milk lover, so, this is good for me.
Black Sesame Soup HKD12
Heavenly good. It was thick, creamy and rich in black sesame taste.
Portuguese Egg Tart HKD48
Lord Stow's Bakery is the best place to buy Portuguese Egg Tart. Their tart was so good till the last bite. Crispy pastry with smooth melt-in-your-mouth egg's custard.
Instant Noodle with Luncheon Meat and Egg + Milk Tea HKD 32
During one afternoon, feeling hungry, we dropped by at one of the local cafe for a quick lunch. I'm kind of curious with their version of instant noodle, so, I ordered one to try. Except that the portion was bigger, the taste was similar to our local brand instant noodle. But of course, the place we eat do affect the taste of the food as well. While the weather is cold, having a hot noodle soup to keep the body warm will instantly make it sound so delicious.
