Brooklyn Day Out! At the RWG SkyAvenue

Hi! And welcome back to another installment of my write-ups, about visiting Resorts World Genting (RWG). Regular readers would know that sometime in the beginning of this year, I was invited up to RWG to usher in the New Year and learn more about the exciting things that are happening to this resort city. One of the best things I discovered up here was the opening of an outlet, Motorino Pizzeria Malaysia, straight from New York City! And if you haven't, you can read more about that blog posting here.

Well, to celebrate the official opening of Motorino Pizzeria Malaysia, they threw a party! Now, how cool is that? It was a great event, I had the chance to head up and enjoy some great foods and music with my blogging fam. I even got the chance to meet up with Chelsea Chil, former Miss Malaysia Queen of the World!

At the entrance to the party, one floor above Motorino! We partied from the afternoon all the way into the late evening.

One part of the SkyAvenue was given over to the hosting of this event, where the surroundings were decked out with Brooklyn-themed art and deco. There were even hotspots for taking photographs worthy of Facebook and Instagram!

There were performances by Kyoto Protocol, RYÖT JONES, Radio 3000, Octopus Dance Crew, Dan Shiv, Rigot Jones and Zamaera as well as the appearance of favourites from the Hitz Morning Crew! They asked me where I was from, I cheekily told them I was Spanish~ lols.

Best part of the day were the stalls of food! For myself, I was after Motorino's Meatballs! I fell in love with these when I first had them at the beginning of the year, they were insanely good!

Motorino Chicken Meatballs when I had them at their pizzeria. They were so good, the waiting lines just grew and were long~

There were also booths for taking instant photographs, temporary Body Art Tattoo and even a sit-in live caricature portrait booth.

You can check out more photos of this event here. Meanwhile, about halfway through the party, we left to check out the Winch Show, which was located at the entrance of the SkyAvenue. They were literally AMAZEBALLS of lights suspended from the stories-high ceiling by winches, which were winched up and down in synchronised in movement to a stories-high LED screened videos and music to animate shapes. Like... WOW!

#ExcitingThingsAreHappening up in RWG, you would be wise to follow their schedule of events and drive up for one weekend overnight stay of fun and entertainment with the family and loved ones. For myself, stay tuned as I uncover more exciting events and happenings for Everyday Food I Love. Until the next visit, thank you for having me RWG! ~ Marv.7
