Restaurant Hock Kee (Ulu Yam Loh Mee) @ Bandar Bukit Tinggi, Klang



This restaurant is famed for handmade noodles in starchy black soy sauce together with vegetables, meat and pork lard or better known as Loh Mee and another specialty dish here is the Fried Fish Cake comes with a sweet and spicy dip sauce. Aside from the famous Ulu Yam Loh Mee, they also features the typical Chinese course and dishes to be served with steamed rice.

Vegetable with savoury wok taste and clay pot keep it warm for a longer time.
Singapore Fried Meehoon, RM6.00
The Singapore fried rice noodles served in here is flavored with ketchup and a little chili sauce.
 
Loh Mee, RM12
A good bowl of springy noodles, the broth was dark and thick and it came with vegetable, pork and fried pork lard. Consistency of broth is perfect, cling onto the noodles but not too over starchy in the mouth. Best add in a touch of black vinegar before you eat it.
 
Fish Cake, RM10.00
Freshly deep fried fish cake, crispy on the outside and bouncy on the inside, tasted appetising with sweet and sour Thai chilli sauce
