This is one of the most happening Mamak restaurant in Klang Valley, caters to hundreds of people every single night. Murni has the most extensive and impressive mamak menu in existence from roti Hawaii, roti seafood, roti scramble, nasi lemak to Chinese, Malay and Western food. Their serving size of food here will never disappoint you...big!

Milky Way is a pork-free coffee shop located in Lintas Plaza. There are a selection of dishes available in their Menu and the price of the food is reasonably cheap. Highly recommended dishes by fellow readers include the Kon Lau Mee, Fish Noodle and Laksa.

Kem Bach Dang Ice Cream @ Ho Chi Minh

Kem Bach Dang is a little walking distance from the Opera House and was packed to capacity when you drop in on a weekend evening, it is a favorite meeting place for Saigonese, for sure it is a must visit dessert place when you're in Vietnam. Some reckons the ice cream here have a better flavor and texture than substitutes found elsewhere. The atmosphere here is not exactly posh but it's air conditioned, friendly, hassle free and serve juices, smoothies, shakes, beer and ice cream. You get a glass of complimentary iced tea when you sit down.

Big Mouth Bak Kut Teh, Fish Head @ Old Klang Road

Big Mouth Bak Kut Teh stall in Chinatown has been around since 1988 located right next to the noisy traffic area around Jalan Tun HS Lee. The old stall is situated next to Guan Di Temple which is impossible to miss it, they serves one of the best tasting bak kut teh in Chinatown. I found their branch stall in Old Klang Road located next to the wet market (next to the post office)

Located at the row adjacent to Giant supermarket, this restaurant serves Beaufort styled Chinese dishes. Their signature dishes including the Claypot Seafood with Beancurd, Stir-fried Choy Sum with Char Siu, Beaufort Noodle as well as Soy Sauce Chicken.

This Indian stall here in Seapark is one of KL people top choice place for nasi lemak. It's name Bumbung Seapark PJ and only start operation at night on a rented section of Sun Fatt Kee coffee shop. We all named it 'Seapark Nasi Lemak'. Here, they serve a good fluffy and aromatic coconut rice (piping hot), sambal just spicy enough, side with crunchy anchovies, peanuts and top with a sunny side up. They only serve Nasi Lemak and Indomie here, both are their signature's dish

Restoran Lim Kee is hidden at the back row of shoplots, this famous restaurant used to be located next to FGA Old Klang Road but that place has been demolished, so they moved to the shoplot across the road.

Binh Tay Market (Chinatown) @ Ho Chi Minh

Binh Tay Market is the main market of Cho Lon. Cho Lon is the largest Chinatown in Vietnam, it lies on the west bank of the Saigon River, consists of the western half of District 5 as well as several adjoining neighborhoods in District 6. The Vietnamese name Cho Lon literally means "big" (lớn) "market" (chợ). The Chinese name (and original name) of Cho Lon is pronounced Tai-Ngon in Cantonese and Dī'àn in Mandarin which means "embankment". Today, Cho Lon especially attracts many Mainland Chinese and Taiwanese tourists.

My Burger Lab, created by 3 young men with a mission to serve decent juicy burger is the popular burger joint in Klang Valley now, many people have been queuing up for a taste of their charcoal bun burgers with freshly handmade juicy patties. Although the price are slightly higher compared to the fastfood chains but all ingredients here are made from scratch, baking their own charcoal buns, used of top ingredients: beef patties made from grass fed Australian beef, combination of Californian Sharp Cheddar Cheese and Swiss American Cheese perfectly melt over the patties with quality assurance. Dare to try their Signature's Peanut Butter and Jam with meat patty burger that is exceptionally good with a sticky, creamy, sweet peanut butter and jam flavor spreading over a juicy meat patty of your choice (chicken/beef).

Ben Thanh Market @ Ho Chi Minh

When you are in Ho Chi Minh City, try to stay nearby Cho Ben Thanh, this is a central area for tourist attractions. You can conveniently walk to the presidential palace, cathedral and etc. Ben Thanh Market is the largest indoor marketplace in the city, the most famous as well centrally located in the city of Saigon and is the liveliest areas. No visit to Ho Chi Minh would be complete without experiencing the chaos and madness of the Ben Thanh Market. You can find out more about Saigonese daily life here, their food, clothes and daily used items: vegetables, meats, spices, sweets, tobacco, clothing, hardware and etc. Also quite a selection of souvenir items but you will need to bargain efficiently here, as prices are usually higher than elsewhere.

Yuzu offer Japanese set menus which are affordable without compromising the quality of food. If you like sashimi, do ask for the chef selection of the day but prepare to pay a hefty price for it. For my dining experience, Yuzu's service staffs are attentive and helpful. The restaurant is decorated with a Zen style of interior which create an warm and elegant ambient.

Hu Tieu Mi is a Vietnamese Pork Noodle Soup, it is absolute my favorite that are made out of the Chinese-influenced noodle soup. The highlight was the clear soup, in order to achieve this, the pork bones used to make the broth needs to boiled and cleaned, and one has to be diligent about skimming off any fat or foam that rises to the surface.
