2 Style Dish - Sashimi Grouper and Boiled in Broth (Seasonal Price) (宝石斑刺身 二食水煮鱼骨尾)
The pure white flesh is then removed from the skin and bones (these are reserved for stock or congee), and the fish is cut on an angle into slices so thin and translucent that they are described as “cicada wings.” Unlike Japanese sashimi, the raw fish of Shunde are given a stellar array of complements. What you are aiming for is a perfect balance of soft and crunchy, sweet and tart, salty and nutty, fresh and dried, fried and raw. Shunde Raw Fish is a showpiece dish and a must-try.
Grouper fish (market price) recommended for their sweet flesh and minimal bones, prepared in many different ways, but one of the most popular and entertaining traditional Shunde methods of prepping fish is by cooking it in a concentrated broth. This cooking method keeps the fish heated through and allows the flavours of the broth to gently seep into the dish. At Youmiqi, the broth is made from a mixed stock and is flavoured with spices like dry chilli, scallions, pepper flakes, onions and thin slices of ginger to balance out any fishy taste. The result is a richly flavoured fish and a fortifying spicy broth.

2 Style Dish - Sashimi Shrimp and Deep Fried Salt and Pepper Shrimp Head (Seasonal Price) (虾刺身 二食椒盐虾头)
Sashimi Shrimps are clear and translucent. The flavor of shrimp is sweet and delicious, often accompanied by their China imported wasabi. Fried shrimp head which is often enjoyed as a delicacy. When the head is served, it is fried, with salt and pepper, and can be eaten whole like soft shelled crab.

Foil Baked Chicken (锡纸焗鸡半) RM40
Baked chicken in casserole, chicken meat and sliced scallions are covered with aluminum foil and cooked in a copper pan for several minutes until succulent. This simple dish exemplifies the importance of balance in Shunde cuisine—the baking method draws out most of the chicken fat while the aluminum covering and short cooking time ensures that the meat still remains moist and tender. Releasing a tantalizing aroma when the foil covering it is cut open at the table, and adding the signature tinge of sweetness to the chicken meat.

Orient Steamed Tofu (海皇蒸豆腐) RM25
This is a light side dish, steamed bean curd stuffed with minced pork and top with chef special starchy gravy. It's a great combination, I like the silky and soft bean curd texture.

Emperor Salad (凉拌皇帝菜) RM18
This imported vegetable is cooked and simply tossed chef special sauce but tasted so good and I like the crunchy texture. Must order this!

Fried Kuey Teow (三丝炒河粉 特价) RM9.80
Fried Kuey Teow which has a savoury wok taste, with the right balance of flavour, this is a promotional dish.
Hot and Sour Soup Noodles (酸辣汤面 特价) RM9.80
Yellow noodle in a flavourful broth, big portion, enough for two. Also a promotional dish.

Sweetened milk pudding (顺德大良双皮奶) RM8
Sweetened milk pudding which is creamy, custardy concoction, mixed with egg white steamed till fragrantly and soft. Don't forget to order this dessert, leave some stomach space t savour this.

Beauty Jujube Red Date Cake 养颜红枣糕半打 RM16
