Canova Caffetteria . Tabacchi . Ristorante in Rome, Italy

Angeline Wednesday, December 18, 2013 , , , , ,

After long walk from piazza esplanade, Canova is a great place to stop by for a quick lunch and people watch. You can sit under sun or shade to watch people, tourist and working people. Food here quite decent but this place was very busy.

Canova
Piazza del Popolo,
16, 00186 Rome, Italy (Campo Marzio)
Tel: +39 06 3612231

1Lt Aqua (Sparkling Water), Euro$5
Funghi E Prosciutto, Euro$14
I loves this pizza because it doesn`t have too many ingredients but it has a perfectly balanced composition. It’s amazing what good parma and some mushrooms can do on this flat crusty bun .
Insalata Di Cesare (Caeser Salad with Anchovies), Euro$13
The most popular restaurant salad, with plenty of variations around the theme of romaine lettuce, garlic, Parmesan cheese and croutons. This classic caesar salads with anchovies was salty and fishy but it was yummy and it’s the anchovies that bring out the flavor of the caesar salad not the parmesan or the croutons.
