BURGER KING EXPLORES NEW FRONTIERS WITH ITS

STAR TREK BLOCKBUSTER DEALS
To boldly go where no burger has gone before, that must be the idea behind Burger King’s new Blockbuster Deals held in anticipation of the new Star Trek: Into Darkness movie slated for global release early May. The limited edition value meal comes with a choice of Galactic Beef or Galactic Chicken Meals with medium fries and soft drink and is priced at RM13.95++.

Each burger comes with BURGER KING’s lip-smacking signature juicy beef or chicken patty grilled to perfection and loaded with two different types of cheese and crispy lettuce. This galactic offering has found a cosmic union with BURGER KING’s special Chargrilled Relish sauce which pulls it all together making each bite a delicious encounter of texture and flavour.

Upsize the value meal to a large meal and get a free limited edition Star Trek coupon notepad. Optional add on for RM 3.00 is the Meteor Crunch Sundae which is vanilla soft serve ice cream with a swirl of caramel sauce topped with crunchy bits of Cookie Crisps. Resistance is futile.
“Star Trek has created a fascinating sub-culture on its own with an extraordinary following worldwide. With the movie tie-in “Star Trek: Into Darkness”, we hope to connect on an emotive level with the Trekkers from the older and new generation and movie buffs in general. I’ve had the privilege to have watched the movie and it’s a visual masterpiece and I’m confident it will not disappoint. In line with the movie theme, we’ve created an experiential dining experience with Star Trek paraphernalia for all our customers to enjoy”, said Keith Loh, Director of Marketing at Burger King Malaysia.

The Burger King Star Trek Blockbuster Deals rolls out in BURGER KING outlets nationwide from April 22 onwards . Making a debut along with the Blockbuster meals are the Frozen Fanta beverages in two flavours – Fanta Orange and Fanta Grape.

Star Trek: Into Darkness is the 12th Star Trek movie directed by JJ Abrams and is the sequel to Star Trek shown in 2009. It will start showing in international screens on May 16, 2013.

For a taste that’s simply out of this world, beam yourself up to your nearest Burger King oulet.

Live long and prosper.
