Wong Hock Soon’s family has been selling Hokkien mee in KL since 1960, thye have become a household name associated with one of the best in KL since then. Popular for their lard fritters garnishing and generous ingredients served in their Hokkien mee. Do give this crowded restaurant a try if you ever by this area.

Hokkien Mee, RM11.00

Savoury wok taste of hokkien mee with generous amount of ingredients: slices of pork meat, pork liver, prawns and vegetables. Most important, the lard fritters garnish, which do wonders for the dish. The secret to make a good Hokkien Mee relies in the dark sauce which is thick enough to coat the noodles but does not dry them out too quickly.
