Step aside Oktoberfest, Passport International Beerfest is here!

Heineken Malaysia Berhad, formerly known as Guinness Anchor Berhad, is bringing a new level of celebration to the traditional month long of get-togethers and cheers. Starting last week, beer-goers can now get the opportunity to sample Heineken ‘s wide range of beers from the Netherlands, England, Germany, Ireland and Asia in selected watering holes across the nation.

It all kicked off with a grand launch last Thursday at TREC KL, revelers were regaled with lots of exciting activities, ranging in performances from percussionist bands and dances, street shows by jugglers, magicians and costumed stilt-walkers and take photographs with brand ambassadors dressed up in Japanese and German costumes.

There were also Selfie-Stations where you could take fun photographs and have them posted on social media and some stage games where you could play for prizes. But perhaps the most sought after experience at beerfest, aside from the sampling of all the amazing beers, was the Virtual Reality booth, where revelers could experience drinking in a different culture.
