New York City

New York City is the most populous city in the United States, also known as "NYC" and "The Big Apple". Like most of the great world cities, New York has an abundance of great attractions.

Times Square
During our visit in the winter, we managed to visit most of the famous attractions which include Times Square, Empire State Building, Wall Street, Chrysler Building, Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, Rockefeller Plaza and Central Park.

In the Midtown area of Manhattan, in the Theater District, is the tourist center of New York: Times Square, filled with bright, flashing video screens and LED signs running 24 hours a day.

Brooklyn Bridge
Connecting Lower Manhattan to Downtown Brooklyn, the Brooklyn Bridge offers fantastic views of the Manhattan and Brooklyn skylines.

Statue of Liberty
In Lower Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty is the most famous landmarks.

Central Park

Wollman Rink in Central Park

Columbus Circle

Wall Street acts as the heart of big business being the home of the New York Stock Exchange, although the narrow street also holds some historical attractions, namely Federal Hall, where George Washington was inaugurated as the first president of the United States.

Wall Street Bull is a bronze sculpture, originally guerilla art, by Arturo Di Modica that stands in Bowling Green Park in the Financial District in Manhattan, New York City.

The Empire State Building looms over it all as the second-tallest building in the city, with the nearby Chrysler Building also dominating the landscape.
