Fong Lye Taiwan Restaurant @ The Garden, Mid Valley

This restaurant is a very popular place amongst Malaysian and have since opened 4 outlets throught the Klang Valley. They serve authentic Taiwanese food, not the 'street' type but a more upmarket type. At Fong Lye, there are always a long queue for a table but no one mind waiting for it. I like the food here and they do serve some truly excellent dishes. The set meals here, offering nearly anything you could possibly think of at a particular moment whether it's rice, noodle, soup, fish, meat, and even snacks.

Spicy Sour Noodle, RM15.80
Noodle with thinly sliced tofu, pork, preserved vegetable in a thick based broth that is sour and spicy. It was pretty good.

Taiwan Braised Beef Noodle Set, RM20.80
Taiwan is famous for it's beef dishes, so we order Taiwan Braised Beef Noodle set, come in a reasonable portion size. The soup was very rich in spices, beef was tender and juicy.

Beef Udon Set, RM20.80
I like the dry udon with beef that came with slices of beef that was soft and tender. It was a huge  portion, I can't finish.
