PROMENADE HOTELS & RESORT HOSTED “BUKA PUASA” WITH ORPHANS AND MEMBERS OF THE MEDIA


Bintulu, SARAWAK; Kota Kinabalu & Tawau, SABAH – 2nd June 2017. Promenade Hotel Bintulu, Promenade Kota Kinabalu & Promenade Hotel Tawau ushered in Ramadan Al-Mubarak within a span of 1 week by hosting “Majlis Berbuka Puasa” with members of media fraternity based in Bintulu, Kota Kinabalu and Tawau respectively to signify the essence and true spirit of peace, forgiveness and togetherness at the forefront of this piety month of Ramadan.

“At Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu, we treated 20 residents of Rumah Anak Yatim (RAY) - an orphanage in Tambunan, SABAH – to a gastronomic sungkai experience besides promoting the gathering of friends and acquaintances.” - said Ms. Anita Chung – the Promenade Hotels Group Director of Sales & Marketing. We have something new this year to give a dash of cheerful festivity feel - we’ve assigned our resident band – Liberty Trio from the Lobby Lounge to perform Raya Festive Songs at Promenade Café from 7pm – 7:45pm daily throughout the month of Ramadan. – added Anita.
 
 
Smiles were apparent as tummies were full with warm, scrumptious food; and joyful chatter filled the air as everyone mingled around. Besides enjoying their stay at Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu, the evening saw each resident of RAY receiving a complimentary Aromatherapy Soap by NIZO Soap and ‘Duit Raya’ by Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu, which was presented by Ms. Anita Chung and Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu’s General Manager – Mr. Hafizan Wong respectively.
 
At Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu, the popular Buffet Sungkai continues at Promenade Café with over 200 lavish Ramadan dishes on top of the existing International Buffet Dinner spread featuring 3 signature dishes Ala Promenade namely… ‘Nasi Panggang’, ‘Kari Ayam Durian & Keju’ and ‘Malabar Sos Udang Harimau’ at RM148nett per person. Early Bird Vouchers are available at RM108nett per person. For those intending to have a hearty breakfast before the start of each day’s fast, Buffet Sahur is available from 11.30pm – 4.00am at RM50 per person.
 
 
The Premium Ramadan Desserts are back this year due to its popularity last year. They are available throughout the month of Ramadan for takeaway or dine-in at only RM3.90nett from 11am to 10pm at the Lobby Lounge, Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu.
 
 
 
 
Similarly, diners at Peppers Café in Promenade Hotel Bintulu and Café@se7en in Promenade Hotel Tawau have the opportunity to ‘buka puasa’ by enjoying Buffet Sungkai spread at RM68nett per person (Bazaar Ramadan Style at Peppers Café) and RM78nett per person (Café@se7en) – all specially prepared by Master Chefs using the freshest and finest ingredients.
