Mee and Cake House in Wisma Merdeka serves a rather good Ngiu Chap at a reasonable cheap price. Many working adults choose to dine-in during lunch hours, hence, the shop will be very crowded.
Location: 6th floor of Wisma Merdeka
Ngiu Chap Soup RM6.50
The Soup version of the Ngiu Chap was simply delicious. It generously comes with beef, beef tendons, beef tripes, beef balls and minced beef served with your choice of noodle, drenched in rich beef broth.
Ngiu Chap (Kon Lau) RM7.00
Their Ngiu Chao (dry style) is a highly recommended dish. Their special stewed beef's gravy perfectly enhanced the noodle's sauce with extra flavours and fragrance. Its beef and beef tendons were undeniably tender and infused with delicious herbs and spices. For extra "oomph..." factor, extra hot chili sauce should be added to the noodle during consumption.
