Chakitiam @ Damai

Angeline Friday, December 4, 2009 , , , , , ,

Angeline went for a 2 hours massage this morning, leaving me and Elaine having breakfast together while waiting for her. With an empty mind, no idea of where to go for breakfast, we ended up having our breakfast at Chakitiam. It used to be my favourite place for Pan Mian and Paus.

We ordered two Pan Mian soup, tausa pau( red bean bun), sang yuk pau( meat bun) and cakes. The Pan Mian is only RM3.50 per bowl. The soup was good but I wish that they could be more generous with the vegetables and meats. The noodle textures was quite soft, not chewy and the taste get boring really fast. The standard of the Pan Mian really dropped compare to the previous time I went there.

Pan Mian RM3.50

Tausa Pau RM1.00 (Nice, lots of red bean paste and the bun is soft)

Sang Yuk Pau RM1.30 (nice and cheap)

Swissroll RM1.20 (the cakes is not too sweet and tasted just nice)

Pandan Cake RM1.00
