On a Sunday morning, a day before I'm departing from KK to KL for Chinese New Year,  Jack and I went to Kedai Kopi Nyuk Pau Baru for a heavy breakfast. It is well-known as one of the best Ngiu Chap(Beef noodle) in KK, apart from the famous Kah Hiong Ngiu Chap and Kedai Kopi Lai Heng Baru.

Jack ordered the Ngiu Chap with Kolo Mee. It comes with a big bowl of Ngiu Chap with soup and a plate of Kolo Mee(thick yellow noodle). The serving size was quite big. The soup was rich in flavour but a little bit oily. They are very generous with the beef slices as we can find plenty of it in our bowls and it was well-cooked. The meat was tender. Unlike others, they marinated the beef slices. At first taste of the beef will send some sweet and savoury taste to your brain. The Kolo Mee taste was average. Nothing to shout home about.
I ordered the Ngiu Chap Noodle Soup. Little do I know that they serve thin noodles too, so I ordered the thick noodle. The portion was bigger than what you can find from other place. Probably because we were being charged RM8 per bowl. Overall, there are really nothing to complain about except the beef tendons, which is one of my favourite,  it was a little bit too soft.
