Massage therapy has been used to treat ailments, physical stress, and aid with overall well-being and health for century. Massage is an alternative medication that is used as treatment and complementary therapy for correcting long-term health problems and illnesses.

Massage therapy consist of techniques manipulation of muscles and lymph nodes. PRECAUTIONS
Don’t go to your massage on a full stomach — this could cause stomach upset during and after your session.

Do drink water before and immediately after your massage and consider having a snack.

Take a warm shower after your massage. This helps remove any oils left on your skin.

Your massage therapist should be able to recommend specific essential oils, and discuss what product and techniques they would use based on your needs.

Some essential oils can irritate asthma and other breathing problems. When applied to the skin, essential oils made from citrus fruits can make the skin more vulnerable to sunlight. Avoid sun exposure after grapefruit, orange, or other citrus oil is used on your skin.

Don’t be afraid to speak up during your massage. If something doesn’t feel right, let the therapist know. You can also ask them to apply more oils and use more or less pressure at any point.

Do exercise precaution and consult your health care provider if you are suffering from any specific aches, pains or disease before you go for a massage treatment.

In a massage setting, essential oils are blended together with essential oil carrier oils. Essential oils are well known for their good effects to your overall health and well-being. When massage  combined with an appropriate essential oil the health benefits will stack up multiple times over.
Good massage oil consists of a carrier oil massage oil base, plus adding a few drops of the essential oil of your choice.

Geranium is used to promote better circulation, improve the nervous system, and even revitalize the body tissues. Geranium essential oils have different varieties and formulations, having a variety of blends that make it perfect to relieve the stress for the muscles.
4. LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OIL
Lavender provides big help when it comes to helping the body to adapt to stress, making it great for essential oil massage therapy. It can help in relaxation and promote sleep, boosting stamina and energy levels as well.

5. CORIANDER ESSENTIAL OIL
Coriander Essential Oil is known for promoting a healthy digestive system and circulatory system, even going as far as supporting a healthier pancreas.
