Fully Seafood Restaurant Chinese New Year 2020 Offer

Like many people of Chinese descent, whole families are making plans, even at this very moment, for the annual family gathering. Relatives will be making the trip to a central location agreed upon mutually in advance, and that’s when the problem starts.
Where do we go to eat? 😅
Chinese New Year is the most important cultural festival to be observed in the world. Companies with large staffing of ethnic Chinese people will close their operation for days or even a week or two whilst in other parts, business and trade will actually grind to a halt as the normally hardworking group of people take the time off to make the annual trip home for kith and kin. There are a lot of fun things happening in the home, with lots of reminiscing, playing of games, exchanging of gifts, drinking and feasting. FEASTING is probably the most important activity of all, for copious amounts of favourite foods will make their annual appearance for general consumption all day long. But formal meal times are also observed still as a matter of decorum, and the most important one of all is the Chinese New Year Eve Dinner.

If you are looking for a decent place to have your family gathering or dinner around the Kuchai Lama area in Kuala Lumpur, here is a suggestion. The food here is good, the restaurant itself non-pretentious, fully air conditioned and quite comfortable. A typical Chinese restaurant in ambience, they are serious about setting the right impression and have a new menu just for Chinese New Year 2020. What follows are sampling’s from their kitchen, stupendously tasty and great value for price.

Prosperity Salmon Yee Sang
Comes with freshly sliced salmon and is quite colourful with the usual Yee sang spices and sauces.

Superior Golden Crab Meat Shark Fin Soup

Steamed Brown Marbled Grouper with Soy
The fish is fresh, the meat of the fish is firm and well cooked and flavoured.

Salted Egg Prawns
Contrary to popular belief, the prawns were not salty, but had the nice creamy taste of salted egg yolk complementing the chewy texture of prawns.

Steamed Village Chicken
The chicken was tender and juicy, with the sauce lending an interesting flavour to the otherwise bland white meat.

Braised Superior Assorted Vegetables
This was one of my favourite pick of the night, I always liked balancing my foods and this combination of vegetable and seafood is very appetising.

Rice with Lotus Leaf
This towering magnificence is too grand to be given such a humble name. It was literally the highlight of the night, just look at the assemble. Stuffed to the brim as I was, I still managed to find room to eat not one, but TWO helpings of this. The fragrant fried rice coupled with the prawns, meat and crunchy leafy green was amazing!

Please enquire with the restaurant if you would like to make bookings for this festive season. Everyday Food I Love takes this opportunity to wish you and your family a very Happy and Prosperous Chinese New Year. Happy Hols Everyone!
