Aubergine Restaurant and Bar @ 88 MarketPlace (Non-Halal)

Good ambiance, great food and even greater hosts. A perfect combination for a makan place that boasts such friendly atmosphere as live music and many more. Head on over to the second floor of this corner lot facing the main road, for a night of a good time to remember.

This is the healthy dish Baba Ganoush (RM9.90), which is roasted eggplant dip. So creamy yet so healthy and lots of natural flavoring from various fresh herbs and lightly spiced. It comes with toasted garlic bread, a little something to dip it with.

Then here is a monster in its own right. Tender juicy pork burger (RM13.90), stack on the deep fried apple rings and this becomes a rather Americanized burger.  Add on the works and you'll get  bacons (RM4) and sauteed mushroom(RM3.90), caramelized onion(RM1.90), cheese(RM3.50) and yeah...even another juicy pork patty(RM7) as shown here. This will make your appetite go ape crazy!
Oh...did we mention the artisan bread that attempts to cover all this shameless madness going on in between?

Busy with Instagram
This tender and juicy salmon Salmon (RM35) is just heavenly with each bite. Crispy skin with flaky flesh resting over a nicely done risotto topped with roasted mashed aubergine is a unique combination. I'm salivating myself all over just writing this.

And here we have spaghetti carbonara (RM18.90), a pasta dish bathed in light cream infused with woody flavour of mushroom with a touch of saltiness of grated parmesan, topped with generous amount of deep fried fish fingers is a luxury in itself.

A poultry dish not to be missed (RM16.90) coocked to perfection, with its skin crispy and meat tender and juicy, soaked in ratatouille, resting on a bed of smooth creamy mashed potato. Every bite makes you want to pause and soak in a myriad of flavours and texture.

A point to note: the taste on all these dish is so light that we could actually finish everything in one seating, including the desserts that follows. A feat that might be the first if memory serves correct.

This tiramisu (RM9.90) is to die for, just lightly sweetened yet bursting with aroma, most notably from the irish cream with a whack of coffee every now and then...wow..trully amazing.

Let me start with the following description from the menu verbatim: Sticks of golden fried dough dredged in cinnamon sugar, served with our homemade hazelnut chocolate sauce. OMG, I don't know about you guys, but they got me at golden fried dough...*Amazing~~~~* oh...there's another word for hazelnut chocolate sauce....now repeat after me: NUTELLA!!...and did I say sauce? I DID! I'm just crying writing this paragraph.
