Contributed by Brian Lee: If you are like the typical chinese family, I can bet you've probably sat to a few get together dinner. There are 15 days of Chinese New Year according to the Lunar calendar so get ready your chopsticks for a lou-sang sessions with family, friends, colleagues, ex-schoolmates and so many different groups of people. Right after work today, I head straight to PJ suprisingly the road was traffic-free and I arrived the restaurant early, more time for me to snap photos!

Our CNY GYM Gathering

CNY Yee Sang
Yee Sang comprises of assorted condiments, which differ in their auspicious meanings as illustrated above. Crackers represents happiness, peanut and sesame symbolizes harvest, oil represents wealth, pomelo means good luck, raw seafood symbolizes life and longevity.
Chicken from soup
Ideal dish, you get the soup as one dish and chicken as another, haha
Claypot Waxed Meat Rice
Teo Chew Style braised Pork Belly and Eggs
Stewed Fish maw with minced pork meat.
Deep Fried Salted egg prawn
The prawns were really crispy and succulent to the last bite! Kinda the type that melts in your mouth
Steamed Garoupa Fish
Steamed Fish was one of my favourite. It was so fresh that I reckon it was just caught right off the sea! None of that stinky stale stench that some fishes tend to have. The flesh was tender and was made right for our palate.
Desserts: deep fried glutinous sesame ball and kuih

Live Seafood
