Angeline Saturday, January 15, 2011 , ,

Welcome Seafood Restaurant is one of the cheapest seafood restaurant in the town. After a great success on their very first branch at Bundusan, they finally branched out to Asia City. Located at the heart of the city, it attracted both the locals and tourists to the restaurant.

Being allergic to seafood, I'm not a big fan of seafood. However, I do love fish and one in a while, I would love to indulge in some seafood.

Menu Board of their Specialty

2 x Kitchai Ping, RM7.00

Pork Belly with Salted Fish, RM10.00
For rice's lover, the Pork Belly with Salted Fish will definitely be your choice of dish. The exotic flavour of the combination of pork belly and salted fish was indescribably good. Savoury with a little spicy and a hint of sweetness.

Chef Specialty Fried Beancurd, RM8.00
Deep Fried Beancurd generously topped with mayonnaise. Blended with mixture of seafood, the beancurd tasted flavourful and tasty.

Stir-fried Choy Sum, RM8.00
Boiled Shellfish, RM11.00
The best way to cook the Shellfish is to boiled it with water. By this way, the sweetness and juicy taste of the Shellfish will be maintain. For extra flavour, you could dip it with some chili sauce. Believe me, it is delicious.

Steamed Tilapia with Asam Sauce, RM18.00
Tilapia is a fresh water fish, hence, the price is much more cheaper. Steamed with Asam sauce, the muddy taste of the fish was eliminated while the flesh still tasted sweet, smooth and flaky. The sourish gravy is good to go with rice.
