To look for good food at Halal's place or Served No Pork's place, had never been easy. No offense here, I don't mean that food without pork will not be good. Just that the food serves in Halal's place, always has a limitation when comes to choices. Soto, Sup Tulang, Fried Rice, Fried Noodle, Chicken Rice are just the common food you can find in every Halal's shop. Cut out the craps, I finally found a nice Prawn Noodle in a shop that 'Served No Pork'. (Note: Fara, you've to try this, really not bad)
Prawn Noodle RM5.00
First taste of the soup, the sweet savoury taste tells me that the Prawn Noodle is tasty. Although the prawns were sliced into thin slices, it was generously given. Comes with fish cake slices, hard-boiled egg slices and plenty of Kangkung and bean sprouts. Rich in prawn flavour but not too oily. Even the Sambal's chili given was good. I was amazed! 4/5
Chicken Rice RM5.00
The Chicken Rice was just okay. The Roasted Chicken was not bad but the uneven cooked rice was a little soggy. Nothing to be shout home about. 3/5
I noticed that many comes just for the Prawn Noodle although the shop actually serves Curry Noodle and 'Tai Chow' as well.
