After the Karaoke Session, it was time for dinner. We drove an extra mile to Klang area for good food. For food lovers, Restoran Boston Baru is a must-go place. It is famous for its Buttered Mantis Prawns, Steamed Lala with Superior Stock, Nestum Mantis Prawns and Hokkien Noodles. However, if you planned to dine here, be prepared for the long waiting session as the shop are really crowded and most of the time it is fully occupied.
So sweet! My daughters drew a nice birthday card for me as a gift. A small gesture will make me felt I'm the happiest woman in the world!
Hokkien Mee
Just look at the colour of the Hokkien Mee! The thick yellow noodle was fried with dark soya sauce which tasted sweet with a hint of bitterness. Used pork, prawns and cabbages to fried, the noodle tasted deliciously good.
Fried Rice
Instead of plain rice, we had some Fried Rice to go with the dishes. Kids love Fried Rice.
Pai Kut Wong
The meaty pork ribs was fried till crispy and coated with sauce. The sauce was more on the sweet side but it does had a hint of sourish taste which made the whole dish tasted more appetizing.
Steamed Fish with Superior Stock
The Fish was steamed just nice. The meat was fresh and smooth. The gravy was good and had nice aroma because it was topped with fried garlics. No fishy taste.
Fried Onion Chicken
A very special dish indeed. The Chicken was coated with a nice batter and bring to fried. Same goes to the onion ring. Then, it was lightly topped with some special sauce. Kids will like this dish.
Steamed Lala with Superior Stock
The Steamed Lala with Superior Stock was addictive, I can say. The fresh and juicy Lalas was steamed with rice wine, ginger and bird eye chili, then topped with fried garlic before it was served.
Stir-fry Kailan with Salted Fish
A green vegetables to balance-up our diets. It wasn't too salty even though salted fish was used.
Buttered Mantis Prawns with Corn
Hot and crispy Buttered Mantis Prawn. Perfectly done with the right proportionate of batter. The butter sauce with corn was rich and creamy. We just couldn't have enough of it.
Sizzling Seafood
The Sizzling Seafood used prawns, fish and squids as ingredients. Served hot in a sizzling plate. The seafood was fresh and not over-cooked. Tasted pretty good.
We moved on to our next plan after dinner. We went to I-City White Winter Wonderland at Shah Alam.
There are a lot of people visiting I-City on that day since it was also Merdeka Day.
You will be amazed with the beautiful light decorations at the whole place.
I'm thankful and glad to had spend such a wonderful day with my family!
The kids enjoyed it too!
