Tom Yam Meehoon with Fish RM7
For most locals, Kedai Kopi Seng Hing had been well-known for their Tom Yam Noodle. It is one of the best Tom Yam Noodle in KK. Located in the heart of KK town, it is accessible to tourists as well.

Anyway, it was my first encounter. The Tom Yam Meehoon with Fish really tasted good. Rich in Tom Yam spices taste, sourish, spicy and creamy enough. Everything was done just right. The fish was crispy as well. A good recommendation for those who love prawns, Tom Yam Noodle with Prawn is one of their signature dish.
Tuaran Mee RM5
For those who love Tuaran Mee or wanted to try Tuaran Mee but wouldn't want to travel far, you can try the Tuaran Mee at Seng Hing. Although the best will still be at Tuaran, the origin's place of Tuaran Mee, still, you will not be disappointed with the taste of the Tuaran Mee at Seng Hing. It tasted good with savoury wok flavour. The noodle was springy, wasn't too soggy nor dry.
Beside Tom Yam Noodle and Tuaran Mee, they also serve a variety of food. There is also a Mongolian Chicken Rice's stall beside their stall.
After lunch, we walked around Sinsuran's shop lots and passed by a bakery shop. Jack told me Carnation Cake House used to be famous and it had a long history. I went in and snapped some photos. Also, I bought some Egg Tarts which tasted pretty good.

I prefer Ah Chee's (the Tomyam man at Seng Hing) drunken (wong jiu) prawn meehoon. Light and not oily with generous slices of ginger. The kids' favourite is still the Tuaran fried mee.

Hi Monica & Jack. Nick here. For Tomyam, may I suggest you guys try out the NEW San Sui? It's the corner shop of Millenia Centre, near MAS Airport Traffic Light. It's quite near CHOICE Restaurant and Rafflesia Hospital.
Their famous for their tomyam noodle, si-jiu-ngau-hor and Thai STyle Chicken Feet Skin.
Always great to read your food adventures. Kip it up!
