Yu Hing @ City Mall

Angeline Sunday, October 18, 2009 , , , , ,

Whenever we mentioned about Yu Hing, people who have tried will commented that they served good food but a bit pricey. No doubt the food is a bit pricey, for a plate of Beaufort noodles with seafood costs RM10. However, if you don't mind paying more for a better quality of food, you will enjoy the food serves in Yu Hing. So far, the best Beaufort noodles that I have tried in KK is at Yu Hing (correct me if I'm wrong or recommend us a better place).

Exactly the same row of shops with Cube, Yu Hing is located at the other end of the shop. You will find it quite secluded as it can hardly be seen by passer by. Due to their good reputation from their main branch in Hilltop, you will still find their business is good.

Besides Beaufort noodles, they do have other specialties such as Claypot Seafood and Beancurd, Sweet and Sour Fish (the way they cooked is different from others), Choy Sum with Char Siew/Pork and Char Siew Omellet.

Personally I think Kedai Kopi Beaufort in Penampang has better beaufort noodles...
The original Yu Hing in Hilltop tastes better than the one in City Mall in terms of dishes as I've tried both places ordering the same food.. The one in hilltop is cooked by the father while the one in citymall is cooked by the son..
